Chico Snap by So South Latin Pop |
|
Notes: This song is fun, and it is a good recovery song with lower intensity choreo. The song is a little bit weird it its structure, so you really have to pay attention to the lyrics and/or counts to be able to cue it well. I got some of the ideas for my choreo from another instructor who posted their choreo on YouTube, but I can no longer find the video to give them props. If this choreo looks familiar to you, let me know– it might be yours :0) YouTube Video Links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIb3sgRW-K8 The real video.
Intro “Oooh Ahh”: Tap toes forward with a bent knee, alternating R and L. Chorus “You do a little bit of salsa…” 1x: Travel salsa right, then mambo forward and back on left leg as you "snap with it". Then reverse to travel back left. Verse: The verses are suuuuuuuuuper long so I go back and forth between travel salsas 8x and back salsas 8x– just so things don't get too monotonous. Bridge “Let me see you”: Zumba shuffle- Single single double. Chorus “You do a little bit of salsa…” 2x: Same as before. Verse: Same as before. Chorus “You do a little bit of salsa…” 2x: Same as before. Bridge “Let me see you”: Same as before. Finale “Ooh Ahh”: Go back to the knee/taps from the intro. Then on the music change. add in a salsa. So it's R tap, left tap, Salsa right (tap out of it). Then L tap, right tap, Salsa left (tap out of it).
