I love this song. Did you see the movie “Ray”? That movie brought those classic Ray Charles songs back to life. Simple choreography and a very short song too.

Intro:

Background singer Step tap with snapping fingers.

Chorus “Hit the Road Jack” :

Walk forward R lead 4x, then cross left over right and scoot with a twist moving to the right. Walk back with R lead 4x, then cross right over left as you scoot left with a twist. Now do it all with L lead. (You’ll be going opposite lateral directions this time)

1st verse:

Basic swing step R lead (Triple step, triple step, rock back) Repeat.

Chorus “Hit the Road Jack” :

Same as before.

2nd verse:

Basic swing step L lead (Triple step, triple step, rock back) Repeat.

Chorus “Hit the Road Jack” :

Same as before. Repeat to the end.
