Torre de Babel by David Bisbal & Wisin y Yandel   Flamenco/Reggaeton

Notes:

A mix of flamenco and reggaeton rhythms, really fun, but hard to cue until you really know the song.

Intro (Flamenco):

Tap forward turning hip alternating right and left feet, with arms above head.  Then add in same arm sweeping down and then back up on each side as you alternate legs.

Chorus (Flamenco) “Mira Bien”:

Keep the intro move, but add floreos (the flamenco hand twists).

First verse (Flamenco):

Travel with a shuffle (1,23) and heel up on 4.  Add opposite arm to come up at the same time as heel.  Add floreos.

Chorus (Flamenco):

Same as above

Second verse (Reggaeton):

Do the “Tap tap and freeze”: Tap forward right, face left wall.  Return foot.  Then put it back, and stay facing left wall (freeze).  Then do left.  Then do right (you’ll be moving forward) then walk back for 4 cts.  Then do this again starting with left foot.

Third verse (Flamenco):

Same as first flamenco verse.

Fourth verse (Reggaeton):

Same as second verse, but on the freeze add in a little quick hip to the front.  So, it’s tap, tap, freeze, &4 (hip goes forward, then back).

Bridge:

Same as what you were doing for the flamenco verses 8x.  Then take these around the room 4x to each wall.

Fifth verse (Reggaeton):

Same as other reggaeton verses.  But this time you’ll do 3 sets.

Chorus (Flamenco):

Same as before.

Finale:

Same as other reggaeton verses.
