Whine Up by Kat DeLuna Latin Pop |
|
Notes: I got the inspiration for this choreography from a couple of different YouTube and MySpace videos of other instructors who had posted their choreography (but I don’t know their names to give them props) If this choreo looks familiar to you and you had posted similar stuff online let me know so I can give you props. I filled in the rest with my own ideas. YouTube Video Links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9oykNkctqE The real video (Spanish Version)
Intro and 1st verse: Four steps R, Four steps L. Twist up feet as you move to make it funky. Then when Kat starts singing, “comb your hair” with the same arm as the side you are going to. Make the step more “rolly”. Bridge 1 “Huh Huh Huh” : Lead with right foot and tap as you go around the room counterclockwise (toward the left). Then do 2 snakes. Then lead left foot and go around toward the right side (clockwise). Then 2 snakes. Bridge 2: Tap out R, L, R (and hold), then L, R, L (and hold). Lift shoulders up and down as you do this. Chorus “Whine Up”: Cumbia leg on the right (toward the left) 4x, then on the left (toward the right). Intro to 2nd verse and 2nd verse: Same as before. Bridge 1 “Huh Huh Huh” : Same as before. Bridge 2: Same as before. Chorus “Whine Up”: Same as before. Intro to 3nd verse and 3nd verse (Guy sings): Same as before. Bridge 1 “Oh oh woah” : Same as before when it was “huh huh huh” Chorus “Whine Up”: Same as before, but this time she sings it forever, so to make things interesting I take it around the room. Do 2x facing front each side. Then face right wall 1x each side, back wall 1x each side, left wall 1x each side. Then stay facing front to finish it off.
