I’m Jennifer Sisk and dance has been my life for as long as I can remember. I started dancing when I was three and became a cheerleader when I was seven. I have been trained in tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. I stopped dancing when I was sixteen so I could focus more on cheerleading and high school, but got back into it when I entered into college. I was a member of the UNC-Charlotte Gold Dusters dance team my freshmen year. Then I just stopped dancing. In fact, I didn’t do any form of exercise and began to pack on some pounds. When I returned from college I knew I had to do something so, I joined a gym and ran. How boring!
Luckily, in 2008 a very good friend told me about a class that she and her daughter had been going to at the ARC. She said the instructor was FABULOUS! Needless to say, when I saw Angie in action, I was hooked. I became a member of the Jam Crew in 2009. After two years of being a member of the Jam crew, I took the biggest leap yet and decided to become an instructor. QCDO has changed my life in so many ways. I have gained confidence, got in better shape and met some amazing people along the way. QCDO is so addictive; try it once and you’ll be hooked! Read more about Jennifer in her Q&A.
