My name is Lisa Burke and I am from Gastonia, NC. I am a 1995 graduate of Hunter Huss HS and a graduate of Appalachian State University. I currently teach 6th grade science at York Chester Middle School in Gastonia.

I began taking Zumba classes with my sister, Angie, in March 2007. More and more, she convinced me to come up on stage with her during class and, before I knew it, I was enrolled in “Instructor Training”.
