Info for First Timers

Important information about Queen City Dancing Queen:

  • Classes last about 60 minutes, including an  8-10 minute warm-up and 5 minute cool-down.
  • We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and light, flexible shoes with rubber soles.
  • Bring your own water bottle. We recommend at least 16 oz. – more if you sweat a lot.
  • If you are attending a JamStrong class, you will want to bring a mat to be able to fully participate.  You can also purchase a mat in class.
  • At most locations, children may attend class with a paying adult but must be supervised at all times. For the safety of all participants, please do not bring children to class who are too young or otherwise unable to follow these guidelines.  There are certain locations that do not allow children in the exercise area, but do provide childcare for a nominal fee.  If you have questions about bringing children to class, please call or email us prior to coming to class.
  • Please no spectators. If you have friends/family who want to see what class is about, please invite them to participate in the class with us.
  • If you want to try your first class free, please print the First Class Free Coupon. This offer is only valid if the coupon is printed, completed and brought with you to your first class. Click link below to download the coupon PDF.
  • We accept cash and check as payment for class cards and apparel in class.  Credit cards can only be used to pay for class when doing so online.
  • In order to keep prices low and operations running smoothly, we do adhere to certain “rules”. For this reason, each participant is also encouraged to carefully read the QCDQ Terms & Policies.
